STRESS

Stress is a response to environmental pressures or demands, especially in a situation where we feel a threat or a danger to our well-being. It can also occur when pressures or demands on placed on us. Symptoms of stress can be felt physically (i.e. headaches), emotionally (i.e. irritability) or cognitively (i.e. difficulty concentrating). Although experiencing some level of stress is a normal part of life, prolonged stress can lead to physical and psychological problems.
